PA Finance Ministry denies Abbas’ office asked to fund hair transplant for head of PA media

"The [PA] Ministry of Finance emphasized that the document that is circulating on social media regarding General Supervisor of the [PA] Official Media Ahmad Assaf is a forged document and there is no basis of truth to it. The ministry said in a statement yesterday [June 13, 2019]: 'The ministry emphasizes that [PA] Minister of Finance Shukri Bishara did not receive such a letter, and thinks that this is part of the deliberate attack against the Palestinian leadership in order to harm it, cast doubt on it, and shake the citizens’ faith in it, particularly at this time.'”

Ahmad Assaf also holds the position of General Supervisor of Fatah-run Awdah TV.
