Fatah and PLO official meets with Hezbollah official

“Secretary of the PLO Factions and the Fatah Movement in Sidon Maher Shabayta, members of the [Fatah] branch, and the secretary of Fatah in Sidon received senior Hezbollah official in Sidon and the South Sheikh Zaid Saher.

Shabayta welcomed Sheikh Zaid Saher and emphasized the nature of the excellent connection of struggle with Hezbollah, particularly in dealing with the challenges and pressures to eliminate the Palestinian cause and to pass what is known as the deal of the century (i.e., US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan), and the existing cooperation in order to strengthen the security and stability in our refugee camps and our Lebanese surroundings.

Sheikh Zaid Saher emphasized the brotherly relations with Fatah, and praised its role and efforts to maintain the refugee camps’ security and stability, while emphasizing the need for a united position by all of the Palestinian factions regarding the challenges, rights, and essential issues of our people in the refugee camps.”
