Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “The occupation is not satisfied with what it does to us every day… It is not enough for it that it has stolen our money and robbed us of our money and rights. Even what the world accepts and ‘international legitimacy’ accepts that it is ours – [the occupation] persecutes us for it, and does not even want us to survive. They interpret [the situation] from their old starting point that they want ‘a land without a people for a people without a land’ – this is what they wanted. They want an empty land, a land without its people, and that they will go wherever [they please,] that they will climb to the moon, that they will go to Mars… They know that this land is not theirs… They [Israel] know that this land has had people and owners for more than 6,000 years, and that we were here before them, before they were even known in history…
Perhaps you saw and heard, dear brothers, how the entire world – even those who [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu claims that he enjoys [good] relations with, and falsely claims that he has put some of the Arabs or Muslims in his pocket… Perhaps you saw the responses: The entire world stood forcefully [against Netanyahu’s statement on Sept. 10, 2019 that he will annex the Jordan Valley]. And we for our part thank all those who opposed and condemned Netanyahu’s nonsense and empty claims. He [Israel's PM Netanyahu] wants to express his animosity towards us, and his desire not to see a single living Palestinian. He acts out of a conviction deep in his heart and mind that a good Palestinian is a dead Palestinian. However, we are alive here, we remain on this land, and alongside us are all the free people… We are here, emphasizing all of our positions in the past and future: Palestine is ours and will be ours, regardless of how long it takes. It will be liberated, regardless of how long it takes, and regardless of how long the occupation lasts…
Allah, 'forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the infidel people.' [Quran, Sura 3:147… Allah… do not leave a single missing person unreturned, do not leave a single captive unsaved, and do not leave a single Martyr unaccepted and without having mercy on him and raising him up, O Master of the Universe. And do not leave a stolen homeland unliberated.”
