Terrorists and their families’ salaries paid in full, civil employees get 60%

"The [PA] Ministry of Finance announced yesterday [Oct. 1, 2019] that tomorrow (Thursday) it will pay the government employees’ salaries for September at a rate of 60%, in addition to what remains from March.

Ministry of Finance Spokesman Abd Al-Rahman Bayatneh said in a statement: 'Based on [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ instructions and in coordination and consultation with [PA] Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, it was decided that the payment of the September 2019 salaries will be made on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 in the following manner: the allowances (mukhassasat) of the families of the Martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners will be paid in full, and the salaries of the civilian and military public employees in all districts of the homeland will be paid at a rate of 60%. Any amounts due to the workers from March 2019 will also be paid."
