Op-ed: Source of terror is “capitalist Western colonialism” and its Zionist pawn; Palestinian terrorists are “fighters for freedom"

"[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas concluded his speech [before the UN General Assembly] by emphasizing the rights and salaries (rawatib) of the families of the Martyrs, the prisoners, and the wounded who have sacrificed in order to achieve the goal of freedom and independence. This was in order to emphasize that these heroes are the symbols of the Palestinian revolution and path markers of the Palestinian Arab people and all pioneers of peace and social justice in the world, and are not 'terrorists' as the Israeli state of occupation and organized crime tries to describe them. This is because the producer of terror in all of its forms and names was only the capitalist Western colonialism and its pawn, the Zionist movement, and its physical base, Israel. Palestine's righteous Martyrs, heroic prisoners, and leonine wounded are nothing but fighters for freedom, peace, and justice, whose national leadership and fighting people will not forget them or their relatives, and will continue to be loyal to their pure blood, suffering, and brave and noble sacrifice, regardless of the cost."
