PLO: Israel attempting to murder sick prisoner “through medical means”

Headline: "Prisoner Abu Diyak"

"The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners' Affairs warned yesterday [Oct. 27, 2019] about the serious deterioration in the health of sick prisoner Sami Abu Diyak (38) (PMW has been unable to determine the nature of his crimes –Ed.)… due to the deliberate policy of the occupation, which is attempting to murder him through medical means, and which is not releasing him or giving him the medical care necessary for his critical situation…

It explained that he is liable to die at any moment, as cancer has eaten away at all parts of his gaunt and yellowed body…

The commission noted that prisoner Sami Abu Diyak from the Jenin district has been ill with this cancer for more than three years, and this is due to a deliberate medical error after he underwent intestinal surgery in September 2015 at the Israeli Soroka Hospital…

It added that he has been imprisoned since 2002 and was sentenced to 3 life sentences and an additional 30 years."
