PLO Chief Negotiator holds Israel "fully responsible" for terrorists' missile attack on Israel

Headline: “Erekat condemns the crime of assassinating senior Islamic Jihad official Abu Al-Ata, and holds the occupation responsible”

“PLO Executive Committee Secretary Saeb Erekat condemned the crime of assassinating senior Islamic Jihad official Baha Abu Al-Ata (i.e., terrorist responsible for numerous attacks) and his wife in the Israeli attack on his home in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City in the early morning (Tuesday) [Nov. 12, 2019]. In a press statement, Erekat held the occupation government fully responsible for the results of this crime.”

Saeb Erekat also serves as Fatah Central Committee member and PLO Chief Negotiator.

Baha Abu Al-Ata – senior commander of the Islamic Jihad terror organization in Gaza who was responsible for most of the organization’s terror activity and planned numerous rocket, sniper, drone, and other attacks against Israel.Abu Al-Ata was assassinated in an Israeli targeted rocket strike on Nov. 12, 2019. In response to Israel’s assassination Palestinian Islamic Jihad fired over 450 rockets at Israel over a period of 48 hours until a ceasefire was reached on Nov. 14, 2019, which Islamic Jihad promptly breached by firing 5 more rockets.
