Mother of terrorist “Martyr”: Israel does not respect Martyrs’ bodies

Official PA TV program Good Morning Jerusalem, on Israel burying terrorists Musbah Abu Sbeih who murdered 2, and Fadi Al-Qunbar who murdered 4, in its cemeteries for enemy casualties, hosting Abu Sbeih’s son Sbeih Abu Sbeih and Al-Qunbar’s mother Manwa Al-Qunbar

Official PA TV host: “Madam, all of the experts here in the capital say that the occupation government is turning to the numbered cemeteries (i.e., Israeli cemeteries for temporary burial of terrorists) because it wants to hide its crimes as it harms and executes our Martyrs. In other words, there is a concern about the change in his appearance, his body – the Martyr’s – and your son’s too. Do you think this is the reason that they want to put him in the numbered cemeteries? Or how did they explain to you that they want to put him [there]?”

Terrorist Fadi Al-Qunbar’s mother Manwa Al-Qunbar: “Truthfully, I do not know the reason that they want to hide their remains and hide their bodies. Their souls are with the Master of the Universe, and we – Allah Master of the Universe be praised – are calm regarding them. Wherever they are buried in Palestine, it is a good land, Allah be praised. All of Palestine is sacred land, Master of the Universe be praised, [the place of] the Night Journey of [Allah’s] Messenger [Muhammad]. Allah Master of the Universe be praised, wherever they are buried – their souls are with the Master of the Universe. But honoring them in burial – Israel does not honor the living or the dead, nor the trees, rocks, or people.”

Host: “Right.”

Manwa Al-Qunbar: “It deprives all the people of Palestine of honor. There is no honor from Israel. In other words, this is an occupation state. We do not expect anything from it of course.”

The Cemeteries for Enemy Casualties (numbered cemeteries) are two burial sites maintained by the Israeli army for burying the bodies of enemy soldiers during wartime as well as terrorists. They are fenced and well-marked. Graves have markers instead of gravestones. Burial is temporary, as the bodies are eventually returned to their countries of origin. No ceremony is held. The bodies are buried in numbered caskets after their identities are documented.

On his Facebook page, Abu Sbeih praised terror groups including Hamas as well as terrorists who carried out attacks and actively called for attacks against Israelis.
