Following imprisoned terrorist's dying of cancer, PA daily editorial accuses Israel of “deliberate medical neglect,” and “a war crime, exactly like the crime of the Nazi Holocaust”

"Prisoner Sami Abu Diak (i.e., terrorist, murdered 4) died as a Martyr in the occupation's prison. It was not the disease that ravaged the prisoner's body, but rather the policy of the Israeli jailors, who no longer take into consideration any human values or international laws. Aside from the systematic torture… the jailors' deliberate medical neglect stands out like a murder by a fatal stab in the back. This is exactly what happened to prisoner Martyr Abu Diak.

The assassination of prisoners in their prison is nothing but a war crime, exactly like the crime of the Nazi Holocaust that the world condemned, put its perpetrators on trial, and imposed a just sentence on them."

Sami Ahed Abu Diak - Palestinian terrorist who shot and murdered Israeli civilian Ilya Krivitz in Silat Al-Dhar northwest of Nablus on June 20, 2001, and also murdered 3 Palestinians in 2001 who he suspected of aiding Israel. Abu Diak was arrested in 2002, and was serving 3 life sentences and an additional 30 years. Abu Diak died in prison of cancer on Nov. 26, 2019; Israel had provided cancer treatment for him during his imprisonment.
