Ambassador of Japan in Lebanon Matahiro Yamaguchi and UNRWA Director-General in Lebanon Claudio Cordone announced a new funding agreement [in response] to the urgent call for the 2019 programs budget in the presence of the State of Palestine’s Ambassador in Lebanon Ashraf Dabbour, who asked the Japanese ambassador to increase his state’s support in order to ease the suffering of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon…

Ambassador Dabbour thanked the people and the government of Japan on behalf of [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian people for what they have given and what they always give, and for their donations to ease the suffering of our people who are refugees in Lebanon, expelled to this sister state by the Zionist gangs that stole their land and forced this bitter reality on them.

Dabbour said: ‘We expect that the entire world will also donate to support the Palestinian people’s national rights to establish its independent state on its land of Palestine with its capital of Jerusalem, and the return of the refugees to their homes.’”
