PA daily glorifies assassinated Hamas leader

“Yesterday [March 22, 2019] was the 15th anniversary of the assassination of the founder of the Hamas Movement and its spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in 2004, after he was hit by three rockets from the occupation’s helicopters in the Sabra neighborhood in the Gaza Strip while he was leaving the mosque after the dawn prayer…

Five months before his death as a Martyr (Shahid), Martyr Ahmed Yassin faced an Israeli assassination attempt, but he was saved and was only wounded after the occupation’s airplanes bombed an apartment in Gaza where he was staying.”

Ahmed Yassin - Founder and former head of the terror organization Hamas. The Hamas movement is responsible for numerous terror attacks and the murder of hundreds of Israeli civilians. Yassin was killed by Israel in 2004.
