The cartoon shows a Palestinian woman in a keffiyeh (Arab headdress) standing next to an Israeli security wall and guard tower. The woman is crying and her tears are turning into doves that are flying away. Protruding from her stomach as if she were pregnant is a prison cell, and sitting in the cell is a prisoner with chains around his legs. The woman’s heart is connected to the prisoner by what appears to be an umbilical cord.

From left to right the prisoners are: apparently Raed Al-Sa’adi – a senior member of the Islamic Jihad terror organization; Nael Barghouti – a terrorist who murdered 1 together with an accomplice; and Karim and Maher Younes – terrorists who together murdered 1.

The cartoon shows a body covered with a Palestinian flag and its head covered with a keffiyeh. A tiny barbed-wire fence surrounds the body, and outside of it tiny armed Israeli soldiers are standing guard. Scattered among the soldiers are tiny military vehicles – one of which is flying an Israeli flag, two tiny military posts each flying an Israeli flag, tiny security wall segments, and tiny concrete security blocks.

Raed Al-Sa’adi – senior member of the Islamic Jihad terror organization’s military wing. According to Palestinian sources, Al-Sa’adi was arrested by Israel in 1987 and is serving 2 life sentences and an additional 20 years. PMW was unable to verify the details of his crimes.

Nael and Fakhri Barghouti – Palestinian terrorists who murdered an Israeli army officer in January 1978, near Ramallah. Both were sentenced to life but were released in the Shalit prisoner exchange deal in 2011. Nael Barghouti was arrested again in 2014 for violating the terms of his release by offering Hamas to serve as its minister of prisoners' affairs, and is serving a life sentence plus an additional 18 years.

Karim Younes - Israeli Arab terrorist who kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980 together with his cousin Maher Younes. Younes was originally sentenced to life in prison, but Israeli President Shimon Peres reduced his sentence in 2012. Younes is serving a 40-year sentence. In May 2017 Younes was appointed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to the Fatah Central Committee. Younes was released from prison on Jan. 5, 2023.
