DFLP: Trump decree protecting rights of Jewish students on US campuses is racist, Palestinians from "1948 territories" were evicted by “armed Zionist gangs”

Headline: "The Democratic Front: Trump's decision regarding Jews at universities is an absolutely racist step"

"The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said that the [executive] order that US President Donald Trump signed yesterday, Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, on the pretext of protecting the Jews at American universities from Antisemitism (refers to an executive order making the 1964 Civil Rights Act ban on discrimination in federally funded programs applicable to antisemitic acts –Ed.) constitutes a new step that is liable to deepen the Antisemitism by granting a racist privilege to Jews, and also a colonialist feeling of supremacy over others.

The DFLP said that our people and its political forces completely differentiate between Judaism and Antisemitism and between condemnation of the policies of the Israeli occupation state that is aggressive in occupying our land and settling it, oppressing our people with bloody violence, and denying our refugee people the right to return to their land, homes, and property from which they were expelled by the armed Zionist gangs, along with the policy of racial discrimination it implements against our people in the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).

The DFLP added that Trump's step is meant to strengthen the Israeli activity at American universities and deny the rest of the ideological and political streams the freedom to express their positions regarding the aggressive policies of the occupation state."
