PLO calls for “all types of popular resistance” to resist proposed Israeli annexation of the Jordan Valley

“PLO Executive Committee member and Secretary-General of the Palestinian Democratic Union FIDA Saleh Rafat… said in an interview with the official [PA] radio [station] The Voice of Palestine today, Thursday [Dec. 12, 2019]… regarding the Israeli government’s intent to annex the Jordan Valley: ‘The leadership will turn to the [UN] Security Council and General Assembly on this matter that contradicts the decisions of the international bodies,’ and he called on our Palestinian people to resist the Israeli steps and actions with all types of popular resistance (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror).”
