PA to Belgian minister: Time for Palestinians to return to home

“[PA] Minister of Women’s Affairs Dr. Amal Hamad discussed the mechanisms of cooperation and future activity with Belgian Consul General Danielle Haven and the accompanying delegation in Ramallah yesterday [May 16, 2019], in the presence of the Ministry [of Women’s Affairs] staff.

Hamad emphasized that the time has come for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state whose capital is Jerusalem and for the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes, since the Palestinian people in the homeland and in the diaspora and more than six million Palestinian refugees around the world are marking the 71st anniversary of the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) today.”
