Fatah op-ed blasts Hamas with river of Palestinian blood

“The patriotic and fighting Palestinian wise people know that the size of the sacrifice needs to be according to the size of the great national goals that are obtained, and if not – this is a mistaken assessment of a man’s worth and the significance of self-sacrifice.

We did not need all this innocent blood in order to return to the starting point – which is called a ‘lull’ in the lexicon of the two fighting sides [Hamas and Israel]. The creation of a river of Palestinian blood so that the suitcases with the millions would float on it and reach Hamas is an act that contradicts the norms, values, and ethics of the national endeavor. We can imagine the world’s scorn when it finds out that we have sacrificed approximately 30 victims, more than 200 wounded, and great destruction in order to expand the fishing zone by a few miles, or for things that are not related to the core of the [Palestinian] cause.”
