42% of PA residents are refugees

"According to the statistics that were published yesterday [Dec. 31, 2019] by the [Palestinian] Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the number of residents in the State of Palestine stands at approximately 5.039 million people, including approximately 3.020 [million] in the West Bank and 2.019 [million] in the Gaza Strip.

The percentage of residents that are refugees has reached approximately 42% of all Palestinian residents living in the State of Palestine, with a percentage of 26% in the West Bank and 66% in the Gaza Strip."
