Families of “Martyrs” and prisoners in Lebanon thank Abbas for paying their allowances

“The families of the Martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners in Lebanon expressed appreciation for the position of [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas in adhering to paying their allowances (mukhassasat) despite the American administration’s pressures and the Israeli occupation’s arbitrary steps, and emphasized their rallying around him in the battle he is waging while adhering to the basic Palestinian principles.

In an interview with the program From Beirut on [official] PA TV, and in conjunction with Palestinian Martyrs’ Day, Secretary of the Fatah Movement’s Lebanon Branch Hussein Fayyad and a number of the families of the Martyrs and the wounded in Lebanon spoke and blessed the president’s decisions to improve the allowances of the families of the Martyrs, the prisoners, and the wounded in Lebanon.”
