“Salfit District Governor Abdallah Kmeil emphasized that it is necessary to receive security approval from the district before any citizen, whether they are in Palestine or outside of it, carries out any land sale. He added that he has ordered the [PA] Security Forces to take very severe steps against anyone who will be proven to have sold or secretly transferred lands to the occupation or collaborated in the matter. He also emphasized that anyone who does not uphold these orders will be considered a ‘traitor.’”
