Fatah’s first terror attack against Israel was a “heroic operation” says PA TV host

Official PA TV host: "Palestinian Martyrs’ Day… goes back to 1969 (sic., 1965), when the first Martyr of the armed Palestinian revolution ascended to Heaven – Martyr Commander Ahmad Musa Salameh, who died as a Martyr in 1965 after he carried out his heroic operation, the Eilabun tunnel (i.e., attempted to bomb Israel’s National Water Carrier), which became a national day.”
 

Ahmad Musa Salameh - Palestinian terrorist known to Palestinians as the “first Martyr of the modern Palestinian revolution.” Salameh was involved in Fatah's first terror attack against Israel on Jan. 1, 1965, which targeted Israel's National Water Carrier. Salameh was killed by Jordanian soldiers following the attack.
