I.e., refers to US President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan, see note below, and the fact that Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim threw a copy of the deal into a trash can during an Arab Parliamentary Union conference on Feb. 8, 2020.
The cartoon shows a man in traditional Arab garb stepping on the pedal of a trash can in the shape of US President Donald Trump to open its mouth and throwing into it a document on which is written “the deal of the century.” Next to the Trump-shaped trash can is another trash can in the shape of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In the upper left of the cartoon is the PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel as “Palestine” together with the PA areas in the colors of the Palestinian flag, with the word “Palestine” in English next to it.
