Fatah official incites Palestinian youth: “You will go out against the settlers, and they will no longer have security and peace in our land”
Video posted on the official Fatah Facebook page, speech by Fatah Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner of NGOs Dalal Salameh at the funeral of Aisha Al-Rabi, a Palestinian woman killed by at the time unknown assailants who threw rocks at her car
Fatah Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner of NGOs Dalal Salameh: “You [children] are the lion cubs and the flowers of this homeland, you have roots. You will go out against the settlers, and they will no longer have security and peace in our land. They want and work to harm us, for the security of their roads. But we say to them: These roads will no longer be safe for your existence in this homeland. You will have no place in this homeland. And they will leave, Allah willing, we will remove them from this homeland…
To the occupation, [from] the people of this land: Your theft of this land doesn’t mean that you’ll enjoy peace and quiet. The children of this land will defend it with all their might, and therefore we say that the [young] generations and the members of our people will not leave their land abandoned. They will defend it and will not lack means, and there will be no place here for any settler and thief of this land. Sleep in peace, O Aisha (i.e., Aisha Al-Rabi, Palestinian killed by unknown assailants who threw rocks at her car)… and let me say: It is not by accident that you reached a state of struggle. Allah chose Martyrdom (Shahada) for you. You are the daughter of a fighting family. You are the daughter of Abu Fawzat, the heroic fighting prisoner (PMW was unable to verify the nature of his crimes –Ed.). Our condolences to you and to your family… You were the sister of Martyr (Shahid) Fawzat (PMW was unable to verify the nature of his death –Ed.). I congratulate you on your family’s path. All the members of the Palestinian people – our people will not forget anyone who has a part in the national struggle. Our people is loyal. O Abu Fawzat, congratulations to you on her Martyrdom-death, and all mercy to your pure spirit…
Condolences to the members of our people in Biddya, the Biddya area, and in the Salfit district… This entire heroic district – on this land and from this land will be the beginning of the removal of the settlers, Allah willing. And peace to you."
People in the crowd: “Revenge, revenge, O [Al-Quds] Brigades (i.e., military wing of the Islamic Jihad), O [Izz A-Din Al-]Qassam [Brigades] (i.e., Hamas’ military wing).”
