“Director of the [PLO] Families of the Martyrs and Wounded Institution in Hebron Amal Jaradat explained that 59 Martyrs (Shahids) have been killed insummary executions on the pretext of attempted stabbings or car rammings in the Hebron district since 2015, and the latest of them was Yasser Shweiki (i.e., terrorist, attempted to stab Israeli) who carried no small arms or anything (sic., Shweiki ran at a soldier with a knife), but rather carried his bag in order to carry out his role with full professionalism. Hebron Court of First Instance President Muhammad Ayyad Al-Ajlouni told [the official PA news agency] WAFA that the honest young person, [court] clerk Shweiki, is a Martyr of the legal system, and he is not the first to be executed by the occupation forces in the area, and he will not be the last. Cold-blooded shootings constitute decisive evidence of the barbarity of the occupation and its extremists, and confirmation of the permission [to spill] Palestinian blood and [how they are] trigger-happy.Al-Ajlouni added that the version of the Martyrs' families and eyewitnesses who saw some executions that soldiers and settlers committed in Hebron, and particularly in its old city, refute the Israeli claims, and prove that the occupation government is crafting lies and pinning accusations of attempted car rammings and possession of knives for the purpose of stabbing to the Palestinians, in order to justify their executions and to show that Israeli society is a victim of Palestinian terror before international public opinion.”

Yasser Shweiki – 27-year-old Palestinian terrorist who attempted to stab an Israeli soldier and was shot and killed by him on March 12, 2019. Shweiki worked as a court clerk in the PA Hebron Court of First Instance.
