Op-ed: Palestinian terror is legitimate “resistance”, Trump is “Pharaoh of our times”

Headline: “The American law – our honor is not for sale”

“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas demonstrated an additional expression of national honor when he instructed the [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs [and Expatriates] to send a memorandum to US President Donald Trump’s administration, and to inform him that the PA government refuses to accept any American financial aid for the [PA] security establishment. This is if the new American law enabling Americans to submit lawsuits against any body that receives aid from the American administration and gives support to people or organizations that carry out ‘acts of terror’ is enforced!

What we and international law consider legitimate struggle and resistance is considered terror in the eyes of the settler colonialists and the occupiers…

The real terror is occupation, settlement, demographic change, massacres against the native residents of the land, forcing them to emigrate from it, uprooting millions, and forbidding their return to their homeland…

The American legislators can legislate a law every day, but time will end before they are able to buy our honor.The Palestinian people’s president, the president of peace, and the person Mahmoud Abbas, shouted before the braggart, cocky tycoon, and Pharaoh of our times [US President Donald Trump]: ‘Jerusalem is not for sale.’”
