Fatah accuses Facebook of preventing freedom of expression by removing problematic FB posts

Text and image posted on the official Fatah Facebook page

Posted text: “In 2017 Facebook responded to 85% of the occupation’s demands to remove and ban the Palestinian content, and as part of this a ban on accounts and pages. The rate rose to 90% in 2019. Occupation forces also arrested more than 350 Palestinians last year due to their posts (and sometimes their responses) [parentheses in source].

Text on image: “Facebook allows the occupation’s people in positions [of power] to incite and attack the Arabs and Palestinians on its platform and prevents Palestinian freedom of expression.”
