Official PA TV host: "Last Tuesday [Nov. 26, 2019] the social media websites were flooded with pictures and videos of the mass demonstrations that were held in all districts of the homeland in order to protest and condemn the decisions of American Minister of Foreign Affairs (i.e., Secretary of State) Mike Pompeo, who declared at the time that the Israeli settlements do not contradict international law (stated by Pompeo on Nov. 18, 2019; see note below –Ed.). Last Tuesday was declared as a day of rage in the homeland's districts as a rejection of the American decisions that give legal validity to the settlements. Let's look at this film together."

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the US administration’s new position on Israeli towns in the West Bank on Nov. 18, 2019, stating: "After carefully studying all sides of the legal debate... the establishment of Israeli civilian settlements in the West Bank is not, per se, inconsistent with international law."
