Abbas letters to Greek leaders: Potential Israeli annexation is "ethnic cleansing", threatens to "take all of the necessary steps" to prevent this

“Ambassador of Palestine in Greece Marwan Tubasi gave two letters from [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas to President of Greece [Prokopis Pavlopoulos] and [Greek] Prime Minister [Kyriakos Mitsotakis].
The president emphasized in his letters that Israeli Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu’s statement two days ago [Sept. 10, 2019] on his decision to annex the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and all of the settlements comes as part of the implementation of an agenda of ethnic cleansing if he wins the elections.It constitutes a dangerous violation of international law, the destruction of the chances for peace, and a complete violation of all of the agreements that have been signed. In the letters it was written: ‘If Netanyahu implements this threat, it will be our absolute right and responsibility to take all of the necessary steps to prevent this dangerous action and the ongoing aggression regardless of the consequences, for which the government of Israel will bear [responsibility].’”
