“The [Israeli-Arab] Al-Aqsa Institute for Islamic Trusts and Heritage announced yesterday that there is a national and religious Jewish consensus concerning the building of the alleged Temple at the expense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and that all the events taking place and the escalating statements show that the Israeli establishment seeks to attain its strategic aim of building the alleged Temple at the expense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and is enlisting all its capabilities in order to achieve this aim…
It noted that even if there is a division of roles [among Israeli institutions], the aim [of the policy] remains the same – the building of a fabled and alleged Temple at the expense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Al-Aqsa Institute quoted the editor-in-chief of the ‘Palestinians of ’48 (i.e., Israeli Arabs) website, Abd Al-Mun’im Fuad, who, on his recent return from a trip to Germany, caught sight of a large model of the ‘Second Temple’ which had been placed at the center of the international arrivals hall at the Ben Gurion international airport…
Inscriptions in Hebrew and English say that this model depicts the city of Jerusalem during the ‘Second Temple’ period, and that it is already on display in the so-called ‘Israel Museum’ in Jerusalem.”
