Abbas: The PA is absolved of all agreements with the US and Israel

PA Chairman Abbas: "The [Palestinian] leadership has today decided the following: First, the PLO and the State of Palestine are absolved, as of today, of all the agreements and understandings with the American and Israeli governments and of all the commitments based on these understandings and agreements, including the security ones."

Abbas made this statement in response to Israel's presumed future annexation, i.e., applying Israeli law, to the Jordan Valley and the Jewish cities and towns in the West Bank.
