“It should be noted that since 1967, 222 prisoners have died as Martyrs, including 67 prisoners who died as Martyrs as a result of the policy of deliberate medical neglect, which constitutes one of the most blatant tools that the occupation’s Israeli Prison Service uses against the sick prisoners. It should also be noted that many of them did not suffer from diseases or medical problems prior to their imprisonment.”
