There is “no Israeli culture” and “no such thing as an Israeli,” just “a group of settlers from the world” - PA Minister of Culture

PA Minister of Culture Atef Abu Saif: "Immediately upon signing the normalization agreement [with Israel], the following day, [the UAE] said that it wants to normalize the cultural relations with Israel. What is the meaning of “Israeli culture”?"
Official PA TV host: "What is “Israeli culture” anyway?"
Atef Abu Saif: "There is no Israeli culture in the true sense. This is because there is no such thing as “an Israeli.” A group of settlers simply arrived from all the world states."
Atef Abu Saif: "They have written  novels and poetry, but to this day Israeli literature is full of nostalgia of longings for the states from which they came, because they don’t feel [any] true belonging [here]."
