Abbas: Gaza flotilla participants only sought to "convey aid;" Israeli "attack" was a "great crime"

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas:
“Israel has carried out a great crime which the entire world found intolerable: It attacked the ships in international waters, and this was a mistake and a crime. Also, it attacked ships which held nothing but people who wanted to convey aid to besieged Gaza.”
