International Red Cross visited 90% of Palestinian prisoners in 20 Israeli prisons

International Committee of the Red Cross Spokesperson Suhair Zakkout: “The International Committee [of the Red Cross] is maintaining dialogue [with Israel] and has advised the [Israeli] authorities to release the elderly and sick [prisoners], because their lives will be in immediate danger if – Allah forbid - the [Corona]virus spreads among the prisoners. We have also increased the frequency of our visits, which have become weekly. We visited more than 20 prisons of Palestinian prisoners inside Israel, and we visited more than 90% of those who are in these prisons.”
