  • PA highlights the “achievements” of terrorist prisoner involved in murder of 19 and wounding of over 70:

- Fathered two children by smuggling his sperm out of jail

- Got a master’s degree in business management and institution management

- Earned a license in Quran reading

- Published a book

  • Terrorist brothers who murdered 3 with accomplices got master’s degrees and published “a series of books” while in prison

The PA takes great pride in the imprisoned terrorists and murderers, and even more so when they accomplish things such as fathering children by smuggling sperm out of jail or obtaining academic degrees, as Palestinian Media Watch has exposed.

One very productive prisoner is terrorist Fahmi Mashahreh who is serving 20 life sentences for his aiding and instructing suicide bomber Muhammad Al-Ghoul, who murdered 19 and wounded 74 when he blew himself up on a bus in Jerusalem on June 18, 2002.

While in prison, terrorist Fahmi Mashahreh has succeeded twice in smuggling out sperm and has fathered two children in addition to the ones he already had:

Official PA TV reporter: “Prisoner Fahmi Mashahreh (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 19 and wounding of 74)… was arrested during the Al-Aqsa Intifada (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005)… Fahmi was the father of a baby girl and a fetus in its mother’s womb, and today he is the father of four children. He managed to achieve the joy of the birth of two of them from inside the prison by smuggling sperm [out of prison.] He became the father of the first ‘ambassador of freedom’ on the land of Jerusalem. That was in 2013, and he triumphed [again] in 2018 when his son Eid was born, who lit up the life of his father and his family, while leaving the jailor perplexed, defeated, and humiliated…”

Moreover, Mashahreh has finished high school in jail, earned a master’s degree, and a license in Quran recitation. Official PA TV proudly told its viewers that he has even written and published a book:

Official PA TV reporter: “Prisoner Fahmi Mashahreh… managed to achieve a matriculation certificate and a master’s degree in business management and institution management… and in addition obtained a license in Quran recitation… and his greatest achievement is the publication of a book.”

Other terrorist murderers join Mashahreh in the academic field. The brothers Ibrahim and Muhammad Agbaria who murdered 3 together with accomplices have both spent their imprisonment earning master’s degrees and published books:

“Today, Friday [Feb. 26, 2021], prisoner brothers Ibrahim and Muhammad Agbaria (i.e., terrorists, murdered 3 together with accomplices) began their 30th consecutive year in the Israeli occupation’s prisons…
During the years of their imprisonment the two have succeeded in completing their studies and achieving a master’s degree, and each of them has also published a series of books.”

Another terrorist prisoner, Hamza Al-Kalouti, who was involved in a Hamas car bombing in 2001 also took advantage of his time in jail, getting both a BA degree, an MA degree, and a doctoral degree. He also obtained “a license to teach in the prisons from a number of universities”:

Official PA TV host and text on screen: “Prisoner Hamza Al-Kalouti (i.e., terrorist, involved in car bombing) joined the ranks of the resistance members, until he was arrested in an ambush set for him by the occupation soldiers in one of the streets of the occupied capital [Jerusalem] during ‘the Al-Aqsa Intifada’ (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005, more than 1,100 Israelis murdered) in 2001… he made many achievements, such as obtaining a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and doctoral degree, in addition to obtaining a license to teach in the prisons from a number of universities.”

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed that the PA sees it as its duty to pay for the academic studies of imprisoned terrorists and that inmates - including convicted murderers! - are authorized by Palestinian universities to teach university courses in jail.

In 2011, Israel decided to prohibit terrorist prisoners’ access to higher education. This decision was made when Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit was held hostage by Hamas and was suffering in isolation, while Palestinian terrorist prisoners enjoyed numerous benefits – including the possibility of higher education. Having been discussed thoroughly, appeals against the decision by imprisoned terrorists were rejected by the Israeli courts and Israel has never lifted the ban on higher education for imprisoned terrorists.

Nevertheless, based on the PA’s many reports, it would seem that the terrorist prisoners are busy studying for university degrees.

Fahmi and Ramadan Mashahreh - Palestinian terrorists who aided and instructed suicide bomber Muhammad Al-Ghoul, who murdered 19 and wounded 74 in his attack on a bus in Jerusalem on June 18, 2002. They are each serving 20 life sentences.

The Night of the Pitchforks - Four Islamic Jihad terrorists entered an army training camp and used knives, axes, and a pitchfork to murder three sleeping soldiers Guy Friedman, Yaakov Dubinsky, and Yuri Ferda on Feb. 14, 1992. The Israeli Arab terrorists Ibrahim Agbaria, Yahia Agbaria, Muhammad Agbaria, and Muhammad Jabarin are each serving 3 life sentences. The attack, near Kibbutz Gilad in northern Israel, is known as “the night of the pitchforks.”
