Abbas: Israel killed "innocent people who were unarmed" in Gaza flotilla confrontation
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas:
"We spoke with [US envoy] Mitchell about an international investigation committee, and we continue to insist on the implementation of what the UN Secretary General said. We demand neither more nor less than the establishment of a neutral international committee which will investigate the assault and the killing of innocent people who, it has been shown, were unarmed, in international waters."
