PA accuses Israel of attacking Muslim heritage in Jerusalem

“[In a graduation ceremony held in Ramallah, the Minister of Religious Affairs emphasized] the importance of courses for preserving manuscripts, in order to preserve the cultural and historical heritage [in Jerusalem], in light of the powerful Israeli attack on our history and identity. ... He added: ‘Despite the ongoing and unceasing Israeli attempts to Judaize Jerusalem, to blur its Arab and Islamic history and culture, and to enforce a new reality... we are holding out and remain upon this land.’”
