Israel is attempting to erase Arabic appearance of Jerusalem

“The Islamic-Christian Council for Support of Jerusalem and the Holy Places yesterday exposed the details of an Israeli plan to change the landmarks of the Al-Buraq Wall square (i.e., the Western Wall square)… At a press conference held yesterday at its offices in El-Bireh, the Council warned of the danger posed by the plan and its ramifications for the character of the Old City and the Islamic and Christian holy places, and the Arabic appearance of Jerusalem. It noted that the aim of the plan is to blur and to change the landmarks of the Al-Buraq Wall square and to turn it into the largest Jewish house of worship in the world.”
