The State of Israel east of the Gaza Strip is “our occupied land,” according to PA TV
Official PA TV News
Official PA TV newsreader: “At the beginning of the year [2021], the occupation announced the conclusion of construction on a [security] fence east of the southern districts (i.e., the Gaza Strip) 60 kilometers in length, which separates the Gaza Strip from the outside world, causing heavy damage to the farmers and residents of the eastern areas close to the fence.”
Official PA TV reporter:“At a distance of approximately 600 meters from our occupied land in the east, the Israeli occupation is completing construction on a fence that separates the southern districts and encircles them underground and aboveground, in a blatant violation of the international conventions and agreements. After the aggression of 2014 (i.e., 2014 Gaza War, initiated by massive Hamas missile strikes, and in which Hamas terror tunnels were used to lethal effect), the occupation began to build a fence stretching north and south, and it reaches the sea and continues in it for hundreds of meters… which has turned life here into a kind of large prison.”
