Fatah official: "Resistance" is a legitimate means to establish a Palestinian state
Lecture by Nabil Shaath, organized by the Latin Church in Ramallah:
“Member of the Fatah Central Committee and member of the PLO delegation to negotiations, Dr. Nabil Shaath… reiterated the refusal of the Palestinian leadership to recognize the Jewishness of the state [of Israel]…
He said: ‘The Christian inhabitants of Palestine are the children of this blessed land, and are an integral part of the endeavor of the Palestinian struggle on the road to liberation and the establishment of a state, whether this struggle is [carried out] through resistance and struggle or through negotiations, since that too is struggle.”
