Fatah military wing glorifies terrorists killed by Israel and vows revenge
“The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah movement, said that the Hebron operation which was carried out against two senior members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, would not pass quietly, and that the response to it was only a matter of time… (i.e., Israel killed two members of Hamas who killed four Israelis in August 2010)
In an announcement publicized by their Central Information Bureau, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades mentioned the Shahids’ (Martyrs’) qualities and said: ‘Both were among the friends and commanders [of the Al-Qassam Brigades who were] close to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, with areas of joint field operations [with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ `Brigades] during the Al-Aqsa Intifada (i.e., Palestinian terror campaign 2000-2005) at the time of operations to stop the invasions of Palestinian cities and villages in the West Bank.’… They called upon the Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza ‘to draw lessons and to return to true resistance…’The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades warned the occupation army [Israel] of a harsh response to the crime of assassinating two senior members of Al-Qassam, Nash’at Al-Karmi and Ma’amoun Al-Natsheh.
They said in an explicit message to the leaders of the occupation: ‘The response to the operation will be swift and forceful, in keeping with the extent of the sacrifice offered by the heroic commanders over the course of their field activity together with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades.”
