PA Minister presents award of honor in shape of "Palestine" to family of a terrorist
The award of honor presented by PA Minister of Prisoners Issa Karake to the family of prisoner Othman Musleh Abu Naji, serving his 29th year in prison, displayed a map of “Palestine” including all of Israel.
Note: Othman Musleh Abu Naji was serving a life sentence for placing a bomb and throwing a grenade in 1982. In October 2011, Musleh was released as part of the Shalit prisoner exchange deal brokered between the Israeli government and Hamas. In that deal, Israel released 1,027 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who had been held hostage by Hamas for more than 5 years.
