Abbas advisor: If Washington won’t recognize the Palestinian State, then we will go to the Security Council

“Political advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas, Nimer Hammad, told the France Press Agency (Agence France-Presse): ‘We shall officially ask Washington to recognize the Palestinian State… If this option is not possible, we will go to the Security Council to obtain official recognition of the Palestinian State by the Security Council.’”
