Israel steals Palestinian heritage and harms Muslim holy places

“Qalqilya District Governor, Rabih Al-Khandaqji, and Minister of Culture Siham Barghouti, yesterday opened a book fair organized by the Women’s Charity Association in Qalqilya… [Minister] Barghouti praised the book fair and those responsible for it, saying: ‘At this time our people are facing great challenges, especially because our people is being subjected to several attempts to blur its identity and its culture, by means of continued harm to the features of our culture, heritage and religion, and even attempts to steal them. Israel is also trying to harm the Al-Buraq Wall [Western Wall] and the other holy places.’”
