Israel referred to as “occupied land” and “northern Palestine" on PA TV
Director of the Al-Kasaba Theater in Ramallah, George Ibrahim, talks about Israeli Arabs participating in a theater festival in Damascus:
"There was a precedent for our Palestinian brothers (i.e., Israeli Arabs) in the occupied land (i.e., Israel) to visit Damascus."
Israeli Arab actress Nasrin Fa'ur responded that for her to go to a Cairo festival, she was forced to say she was from Ramallah in the West Bank or Jerusalem, "but I'm from Tarshiha, in northern Palestine (i.e., northern Israel)."
