We promise you that we shall remain loyal to Yasser Arafat’s path of struggle and giving, until we achieve our national objectives, for the sake of which he died as a Shahid (Martyr). We uphold the memories of our Shahids and send greetings to our heroic prisoners in all the prisons of the occupation [Israel]. We ask for mercy upon the soul of Yasser Arafat, father of Palestinian nationalism, and our promise is that we shall continue to follow his path.”
