Governor of Nablus: Hamas planned assassination

“Governor of the Nablus district, Jibril Al-Bakri, met with delegations which gathered yesterday morning and came to the [Nablus] district in order to express solidarity with him, following the exposure of the plan by a Hamas military cell to assassinate him… Al-Bakri thanked the delegations and… clarified that the report by the news agencies was one hundred percent correct. He noted that the [Hamas] cell which had planned [the assassination] had sufficient material and ammunition capabilities to carry out its plots, aimed at spreading anarchy in the district.”
