PA: “Religious obligation” to teach children to defend Al-Aqsa from Jews who “defile” it and “plan to destroy it and build the alleged Temple”

Director of the PA Ministry of Religious Affairs Department of Preacher Training Sheikh Majed Saqr: “Especially on Monday (i.e., Jerusalem Day), the settlers want to come in and defile [the Al-Aqsa Mosque]… Everyone who can come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to carry out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict) and pray, old or young, male or female - we must defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque … [We must] teach my son and yours, my daughter and yours about what the Al-Aqsa Mosque is, how [the Israelis] are working to Judaize it, how they are working to divide it, how they are planning to destroy it and build the alleged Temple. This is a religious obligation and a national obligation.”
