Salfit District Governor glorifies violence: "The flame of armed struggle is continually renewed"

Issam Abu Bakr, Salfit [in the West Bank] District Governor:
“In ’65 the first Al-‘Asifa (Fatah unit) armed pioneers burst [onto the scene] and announced the establishment of Fatah starting at Eilaboun (i.e., name of first Fatah attack, targeting the Israeli National Water Carrier), and since that date the flame of the armed struggle and the revolution is continually renewed.”
