“[PA] Minister of Justice Muhammad Al-Shalaldeh told [the official PA news agency] WAFA that the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) decision to launch an investigation [against Israel] is a clear diplomatic success and historic decision, which is not only credited to the State of Palestine and the [Palestinian] liberation movement, but rather constitutes a success of all the world’s liberation movements…

The minister noted that the threats by the occupation regime and the US are meaningless regarding the ICC, which constitutes a neutral and independent legal mechanism…

He said that this is a message to the entire world according to which no one can evade punishment, and he noted that [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas and also the State of Palestine have fulfilled the greatest role in everything connected to this decision.”
