Palestinians have been in Israel “for 6,500 years,” claims PA daily op-ed

Excerpt of an op-ed by Yahya Rabah, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“On March 31, 1976, the Palestinian intifada (I.e., terror wave) broke out with strong and surprising force … and something new was established in the world – that the Palestinian people were not destined to Palestinian illusions and Zionist myths, but rather the truth was established that the Palestinian people, which has remained in its land consecutively for 6,500 years (sic., the Palestinians have no history prior to the modern period).”
